About
This review site has been set up by a current IB Student to help fellow International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Students to find text books to help them pass their exams and get a high number of points on their diploma!
Why call the site IB Damned?
This was the first question I was asked when I set up this site. The explanation I gave:
I have called the site IB Damned because there is no denying, the International Baccalaureate Diploma is hard work! And there comes a time, for many students, where they feel as if they are ‘damned’. Although, this state doesn’t effect every student, it does most. But in the end many people pass due to putting in the effort and motivation throughout the entire two years of the programme. You don’t have to feel damned, as long as you work you’ll be okay.
The concept of this site is to help IB Students find the textbooks they need to help them learn the content out of lessons, so that they don’t feel ‘damned’.
Don’t be damned with IB Damned! (Very corny, but we love it!)
We are in no way saying that the IB is a bad programme of study, as it is evidently not! We are here to help you pass your diploma with flying colours! I myself am taking the Diploma, and I believe that it is the best post 16 programme of study in the world. I’m sure many other students of the IB think this also!

Thank you so much!
There is just too much to study, especially History, there is a question that i would like to ask about how to study for History.
I go to an IB school with out proper text books, only the teachers have the book, and we usually study from handouts, that makes me feel kind of insecure. So i decided to order books from the internet, I have seen those books that you recommended, but is there any text books that summarizes all the important points and events in bullet points that the syllabus requires us to learn?
Well, from what I understand the Pearson books for History follow the syllabus quite well and they do, at the start of each chapter, have a timeline with all the key events (these are particularly helpful for revision!)
The Pearson Baccalaureate books are pretty helpful too because they have sections that help with your technique for the questions of each paper, what the essay questions are asking of you and what key terms mean.
There are a number of the Pearson Baccalaureate History books for each section of the History course and they are hugely popular.
You can check them all out by clicking here
I hope this helps
